For some reason hair is easier than fur. It's possible I was doing something wrong but I don't know what. I tried doing a hedgehog and a cat, neither successful. I was using this technique http://tv.adobe.com/watch/the-russell-brown-show/masking-basics-in-photoshop-cs5/ and it worked great on the above image and on another of a woman in period costume but on the animals when I used the brush nothing happened or a little bit of yuk happened. Anyway, same technique here and she looks pretty good.
I haven't done anything yet with this woman besides slap her into the picture ala a mask.
